the Breath is a Sri Lankan environmental organization founded by a group of passionate individuals who believe that protecting the environment and wildlife is protecting life itself.

Stand with Elephant 🐘
A national initiative to protect wild elephants and promote peaceful coexistence between humans and wildlife.
Implementing early warning systems to reduce human-elephant conflict.
Educating farmers on sustainable coexistence techniques.
Restoring natural elephant corridors and safe habitats.
Promoting the message: “Protect their lives, preserve our land.”

The Jackfruit Tree Project 🌳
A community-based reforestation program to plant jackfruit trees across Sri Lanka.
Provides food security, shade, and habitats for wildlife.
Reduces deforestation and soil erosion.
Encourages each household and school to plant and care for at least one jackfruit tree.

Green Lens School Short Film Competition 🎬
A creative platform empowering students to tell environmental stories through film.
Themes: “Protect Nature,” “Guard Our Forests,” “Save the Wild.”
Encourages young minds to express their views on environmental issues.
Winning schools receive eco-grants and mentorship for future projects.

Clean Rivers, Clear Future 💧
A national campaign to clean and protect Sri Lanka’s rivers and waterways.
Organizing community clean-up drives and awareness events.
Engaging schools, youth clubs, and local councils.
Encouraging proper waste disposal and recycling habits.

The Breath Youth Green Clubs 🌱
Forming eco-clubs in schools and universities to build future environmental leaders.

Waste to Worth ♻️
